Electrospinning Preparation of PAN/TiO2 Nanofibers and Photocatalytic Regeneration Properties for Methylene Blue dye

The nanofiber membranes prepared by electrospinning method attracted the attention of researchers in field pollutant treatment due to their ease manufacture, efficient performance and removal. Some these lack possibility reuse low efficiency high regeneration cost. In this paper, we were able prepare from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) PAN/TiO2 adding different ratios (5,10 15) wt% TiO2 respectively. resultants nanofibers characterized using Field Emission Scanning microscope (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). These enable effective complete degradation MB dye water ultraviolet (UV) irradiation with after washing distilled water. is up 98% when 15wt% was used, while reaches 83% reused composite (PAN/TiO2). work not only explains reusing films pollutants but also gives a detailed understanding behavior membrane degradation.
